Is Cevatan free?
Yes. The game is completely free in the browser and on mobile. The apps show a short ad when a game starts.
Do I need an account?
No. Pick a name and play: no e-mail or password is required.
How many players per game?
From 2 to 4 players, humans or AIs. The quick online game starts as soon as 3 players are ready.
How do I play with friends?
Tap “Create a game”, then share the room code or link. Your friends join from the browser or the app, and the host starts the game when everyone is there. You can fill the remaining seats with AIs.
Can I play alone?
Yes: “Against the AI” starts a game against three AIs right away. There are four levels, from Easy to Expert, and each AI has its own personality.
Are the dice really random?
Yes. The dice are rolled on the server with a secure random generator, the same way for players and AIs. No roll is ever arranged, except once in the tutorial, for the demonstration.
How long does a game last?
About 30 minutes in Classic mode, less in Blitz (7 points) and longer in Epic (13 points).
What happens if I leave a game?
The AI plays for you and you can come back with the same link while the game goes on. A game against the AI only is not saved.
Which devices can I play on?
On computer, tablet and phone, in the browser, as well as in the Android and iOS apps. Everyone can play together, whatever their device.
Is the game available in French?
Yes. The game automatically picks English or French, and you can switch with the EN / FR button in the menu.
How do I learn the rules?
The interactive tutorial walks you through in one minute, and the Rules page covers everything. The strategy guide then helps you improve.
What data is collected?
Very little: your name, a random device ID and game data. Everything is explained in the privacy policy.
